FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

UMR Partners with Leading Humanitarian Organizations

to Deliver Emergency Aid in Flood-Affected Yemen

Yemen — April 2026 — Following devastating floods that have impacted hundreds of thousands across Yemen, United Mission for Relief and Development (UMR) has joined coordinated response efforts alongside key partners, including International Medical Corps (IMC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and Première Urgence Internationale (PUI).

Working within the Health and Nutrition Cluster, UMR is helping address urgent gaps in underserved areas along Yemen’s west coast. On April 14, 2026, UMR delivered essential medicines and medical supplies to three health units in Mokha—Al Hamili, Jihzar, and Mahjr Al Raaee. In addition, UMR is providing medicines and fortified food support to reach approximately 40,000 people in flood-affected communities.

Through these partnerships, UMR is contributing to a coordinated humanitarian response aimed at sustaining critical health and nutrition services for vulnerable families.
